Wrestling
Learn the basic techniques that will give wrestlers the solid fundamentals for: offensive attacks, defensive tactics, and position-oriented wrestling. The fundamentals learned will help make sure that wrestlers do not get locked into the opponents scoring possibilities during a match.

Program Fee Hampden Resident: $30.00 per participant
Program Fee Non Resident: $35.00 per participant
Program Equipment/Supplies Required: Wrestling shoes or Sneakers (not worn outside), Water Bottle, Ear protection (recommended)

Meet Coach Aaron James: 
Former Maine high-school state champion, represented the United States in Belgium,competed in the Belgium World Cup in 1996. 
College: NCWA National Qualifier for W.C.C.C.
Former High-school Coach @ Woodland High School, Calais High-school & Washington Academy.
Asst. Coach at King of the Rock wrestling club in Oak Harbor, Washington State.
Coached the Downeast wrestling club in Washington County.
Co-head coach at the University of Maine. While coaching there the team won a NCWA DII National Title.
2015 Voted person of the year by Maine Amateur Wrestling Alliance.
2017 N.C.W.A Northeast Conference Coach of the Year.
